Background
Explorer Post #2022 was established in 2022 under the sponsorship of the Galena Police Department. Located at and partnered with the department, our post was founded to connect local youth with law enforcement and provide hands-on professional development. Since our founding, we have grown into a great community resource serving for the People — participating in outreach events, public safety education, and civic engagement that strengthens the bond between the department and the Galena community.
